Hipjoints & Hamstrings Workshop
Sunday 22nd July
11 - 4.30 pm Berkhamsted, Herts, UK
For the final hoorah before the Summer Holidays I thought we should do a really fun, active day.. Where you can be experimental, or be gentle, where the lessons give many possibilities and a lot of freedom.
One thing I notice again and again is that when we feel a bit stuck or frozen in our bodies- it is often felt as a freezing or blocking in or around the hipjoints, and a shortening often felt in the muscles of the legs. When this eases we can be left with a great sense of freedom, which can mean a world of difference to our running, walking, dancing for eg, as well as our basic sense of comfort in ourselves day to day. And this can happen without the need for stretching.
This day will be active, but will also give time to slow sensing to improve the connections between the legs and the hipjoints and pelvis, as well as the legs and the chest and upper body. It is a very safe and playful way to access parts of yourself which may be holding on to old emotions or old patterns, and will give you clear tools how to continue to use the principles long after the workshop. The theme is revisited with a completely new workshop.
